Just wanna say I came to visit my Grandma Burr on this day that your “40th anniversary” of stealing credit from my grandfather and his brother. They introduced it to you. To IHC! Its inception WASN’T in 1978 it was in 1972 in Denver Colorado when they created it. What’s interesting is you’re taking credit again from them, when they took the concept on the road and started flying for Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas in 1976, where it was finally named “ LIFE FLIGHT” in 1976, not 1978 by IHC. They were the FIRST to pioneer the air ambulance service. Later they brought it to you, and licensed the helicopters to you, and now you’ve stripped them from history taking the credit! “Since its inception in 1978” are you serious!? That’s the only credit you give because its inception was by Robert C. Burr and Jim Burr! Again not in 1978, but in 1972. The inception you talk about was when they brought it to you and worked out the contracts and rented the helicopters to you. It was through my grandpa, Robert C. Burr’s ingenuity and innovation retrofitting the FIRST “air ambulance”, using techniques used during the Vietnam War. According to the Associations 2004 edition of Air Medical Services, Page 1-7: “Established in 1972 at St Anthony's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. The FIRST known hospital/aviation/vendor contractual arrangement was formed with Rocky Mountain Helicopters during this same time.” Rocky Mountain Helicopters massive achievement iim aviation history swept away and you took the credit for it, and made my grandma cry. Just after her husband, the man who retrofitted the first helicopter to air ambulance status. The fact that they achieved amazing ewts.years before you and then worked a contract out later with YOU (IHC.) Once again the words of my grandma through tears watching IHC reps accept the award by the governor. Was too much, she left the room saying “they didn’t mention your grandpa, not one time”. She knew how hard my grandpa Burr and his brother worked, only to be overshadowed. At least we know and aviation history knows. In the video a pilot says, “this was a new concept”. I writing this for my grandma, who had just lost her husband, to cancer. It didn’t help having to see your hospital take away and disrespect the innovation and hope they had that this new system would help others. Especially the hospital in Denver the FIRST started the program with grandpa and his brother. You make it seem as though YOU did it all…I apologize for being hot headed, but again you made my grandma cry and feel the loss of her husband (my grandpa) that much more painful. www.sciencedirect.com/sdfe/pdf/download/eid/1-s2.0-S0740831584800443/first-page-pdf That helicopter in Denver would only pick up someone who was injured and drop them off at an ambulance. My grandpa combined the two, as it was done in Vietnam, retrofitting the interior the same as an ambulance. And then the FIRST Air Ambulance was created. Then your people being interviewed saying “We started” “WE were the first”. I have multiple national air aviation books that specifically mention RMH as the creators, IHC is not mentioned in any of them. 2:20 - Rocky Mountain helicopter Logo 2:24 - Rocky Mountain Helicopter Logo Finally watch this video made many many years ago about Rocky Mountain Helicopters. At 11 : 20 into the video you’ll see the air ambulance portion ua-cam.com/video/NKqd-eSIjZU/v-deo.htmlsi=Gm9jSLGcJQvOade_ Pam Moore being “one of the first pediatric nurses” is very commendable, but she of all should know better. I’m happy you have carried on the innovation and legacy of my grandfather, that you continue to save lives. Thank you for doing that. But I can’t watch this video anymore it just makes me really sad that my grandp He has passed on and his legacy has been lost and has been hoarded and gulped up by others. This man Robert C. Burr a WWII Veteran and hero of mine who loved aviation wanting to use it to help others, and HE DID. He was one of the men from the greatest generation who saw his fellow WWII B-17 crew members torn to shreds by enemy gun fire, who from inspiration along with his brother pioneered what you are taking credit for… Not even mentioning his name because that would take the credit your boasting about away from you. My grandma recently passed away and if she saw this video you made, this time her tears would turn into frustration and anger. She lived through the many years of watching my grandpa and his brother Jim work so hard to build their helicopter company from scratch, and all the many years of turmoil getting the business off the ground, having their first two Helicopters crash, one after the other, almost giving up, but the third helicopter finally working, and if haden’t they would have been bankrupt. But it did fly and so many after that. Living through the hardships my grandpa faced was etched into her, she was so very proud of him, and every time (after he passed away) when she saw a Life Flight Helicopter fly by she’d smile and say “hi honey!” As if it were a message from him to her…

Im getting a dual chamber in three days. Uneasy about someone messing around with my heart. But because of symptoms from Afib at 229 and bradycardia down to the 30-40s, i feel like a yo-yo. Cause is SSS. Im hoping all goes well and I can get my life back. Stay safe all. May 26, I've had my pacemaker for almost a week. No more lows, been running 70-100. At times running a little bit high but I was already told they might have to tweek it. At this time, no more symptoms!!! Now I'm just hoping for no more SVT or AF. Stay safe and take care of yourself!

I just had a six way bypass at the age of 52 in May of 2024. Been home a couple of days and would like to add a couple of points. 1. You will have a lot of edema, especially in the leg where they harvested the vein. Take your Lasix! When that edema starts going away you will pee, A LOT. Have a plan to deal with that such as keeping a clear path to the bathroom or a pee bottle on hand. 2. Use your cough buddy bear or similar, even if it hurts. It's there mostly to keep your breastplate stable. 3. There's a lot of gunk in your lungs. If you can arrange it, try to lay down so that your legs and butt are higher than your head. Let gravity help drain you out. Practice taking in deep breaths till you hesr the crackle in your lungs. Then exhale forcefully without the cough part. An hour of this is worth ten hours of sitting upright. Having a bed you can tilt is perfect. You don't need much, just about five degrees negative inversion. Have a bucket, cup, rag or whatever to spit into. You'll probably make a mess of yourself. Don't worry, that's easy to clean later.
